Review: SmokeAway Purifier Fan

Purifier I tried the SmokeAway Purifier Fan after seeing it advertised on social media. I bought the two-pack for $76 (originally $92) and added a 10-pack of replacement filters for $14. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. I’d also like to note that they claim it comes with a free herb grinder but we never received one. The fan feels cheaply made and only works with the short USB-C cable provided, which is an unnecessary limitation. I also found out there’s a rechargeable version available, but I assumed the one I was getting already had that feature since that’s what I’d seen in all the ads. As for performance, I was pretty disappointed overall. It doesn’t seem to completely get rid of a full hit of smoke, and it definitely doesn’t remove the scent. I still saw smoke escaping after blowing it through the fan, and the lingering smell was noticeable even in a closed room. It does offer some air circulation, but that’s about it. I also found the same product on Amazon for almost half the price, and those on Amazon can’t even be shipped to California due to air regulations. While it might help a bit with smoke detectors, it’s hard to justify the price given the underwhelming results and cheaper alternatives. Purifier
