Loren Lomboy

Loren Lomboy is a Sierra Madre, California–based music producer and DJ whose work spans hip-hop, reggae, and house. An avid music lover, Loren has always enjoyed live music events and festivals, and his musical journey began in the 1990s DJing high school dances, proms, backyard parties, and selling mixtapes on cassette. In the early 2000s, he helped throw raves and local events, honing his craft and building a reputation for energetic, precise sets. Today, Loren spins mostly house music using a Pioneer DJ controller while producing hip-hop and reggae tracks with live instrumentation in his studio, The Lion’s Denn.

As a producer, Loren has worked with artists including Jon B, Kid Frost, and Scoop DeVille, with a recent credit on Jon B’s Hills to the Hood. His production style blends Logic Pro with live drums, congas, and other instruments, resulting in music that’s both dynamic and authentic.

Beyond music, Loren is a trained martial artist and former Hapkido instructor, with competitive experience. Prior to the rise of the UFC, he promoted and competed in backyard fighting events. He also worked professionally as a security specialist, notably serving as a bodyguard for Verdene White of Earth, Wind & Fire, providing protection at the Grammys and various red carpet events.

Loren is also the leader of The Flight Club, a competitive dart team based in Sierra Madre. The team regularly competes in regional tournaments, and their home bar, The Buck, serves as a hub for practice and community gatherings. Under Loren’s leadership, The Flight Club has built a reputation for skill, camaraderie, and sportsmanship, reflecting his commitment to teamwork and competition both on and off the stage.
